From School of Rock to Dear Evan Hansen, Broadway keeps rocking along, and during this Master Class you’ll get to work one-on-one on your contemporary Musical Theatre Audition Technique and pieces with Broadway Casting Director, Kaitlin Shaw of Tara Rubin Casting!

In addition, students will have Special Guest Performers from Broadway’s School of Rock for an exclusive Q&A session!
Please bring two 16-32 song selections from the pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre repertoire
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Kaitlin Shaw has been part of Tara Rubin Casting since 2008 and is a proud CSA member. Some favorite projects with Tara Rubin Casting include the upcoming tour of Les MisérablesPrince of Broadway, Crazy for You (25th Anniversary Concert), Disaster! (Broadway) Flashdance, the Musical (National tour), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Paper Mill Playhouse and La Jolla Playhouse), Little Dancer (Kennedy Center), Clinton, the Musical (NYMF and New World Stages), and several plays and musicals for the Bucks County Playhouse. She has worked on the Broadway productions of Aladdin, Gigi, Les Misérables (25th Anniversary Production), The Phantom of the Opera, Bullets Over Broadway, Mothers and Sons, A Time to Kill, Big Fish, Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Promises, Promises. Kaitlin won a 2016 CSA Artios award for casting Clinton, The Musical.Kaitlin hails from Southern California and studied Dramatic Art and American Studies at University of California, Davis.
This One Day Master Classes is open to ages 8-21.
