Sunday   ~   August 6th

(12:00pm Commuter Drop Off - Nola Studios, 244 W 54th Street, 10th floor)
Commuting Parents: Kindly plan to drop off students on the ground floor of the studios. Students will be greeted & escorted to the 10th floor on Day One! Plan for Street Level goodbyes! You will have opportunities to observe master classes and final performances later in the week!
11:30am Participants staying in BAA recommended hotels meet in Hotel Lobby
11:40am Chaperones escort participants to studios
12:00pm - 1:00pm Orientation & Registration
Staff & Student Introductions and Theatre Games
1:00pm - 3:00pm DANCE PLACEMENT AUDITIONS with Michelle Kittrell (Currently of Broadway's Hairspray)
Please note all students, regardless of Major, will participate! Please bring tap and jazz shoes or dance sneakers. All Majors (including Dance) must also choose to audition with a song and/or monologueat 3:00pm.
3:00pm - 5:30pm 16 BAR & MONOLOGUE PLACEMENT AUDITIONS
Singers - Please prepare TWO contrasting 16-32 bar pieces (e.g. up-tempo/ballad, legit/belt). Be sure to bring your sheet music! (In addition, singers may prepare an optional 2 minute monologue)
Actors - Please prepare TWO brief contrasting monologues. Your selections should total 2 - 4 minutes or less. (In addition, actors may prepare an optional 16-32 bar song)
Dancers: Please prepare a song or monologue (or both) for your placement audition.
GENERAL NOTE: Be prepared to announce the name and author of your audition selections.
5:30pm - 6:00pm Final Showcase Vocal Rehearsal (Music Selections from Broadway's Wicked and Rent)
6:00pm Participants escorted back to BAA Hotels / Commuter pick up and sign out (Nola Studios, 244 W. 54th Street, ground floor)
8:00pm OPTIONAL Evening Activity: Movie Musical Night (at the Hilton Garden Inn, Hosted by Rachel and Martha!) Summer Participants Only, Please!
11:00 pm Lights out! Rest up for another busy day tomorrow!


 

Monday   ~   August 7th

7:00pm - 8:00pm OPTIONAL Evening Activity: Capezio Outing Night (Flagship Store at 51st Street remains open for BAA private party and professional discount! Nick and Melody from "So You Think You Can Dance" will be guest performers!) Parents and Participants invited!
11:00 pm Lights out! Rest up for a busy day tomorrow!
