BROADWAY SUCCESSES

RUBY RAKOS (Summer '08, '09, Winter '09, Master Classes, Private Coachings) is currently playing the role of Tracey Atkinson in Billy Elliot on Broadway!

ANNABELLE KEMPF (Summer '10) booked the role of Margaret Gromely/Ballet Girl in Billy Elliot on Broadway!

CHELSEA GALEMBO (Summer '08, Winter '09, One Day Master Classes) was cast in Billy Elliot! She is a Ballet Girl swing in the Broadway production.

DANIKA YAROSH (Winter '09, Billy Elliot Master Class, Private Coachings, etc) was cast in Billy Elliot on Broadway!

CORRIEANNE STEIN (Summer '08) was cast in Elton Johns' Broadway production of Billy Elliot!

BETHANY TESARCK (Summer '08, '09, '10, Winter '07, '08, '09, '10, Master Classes, Private Vocal Coachings) was cast in the revival of Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway!

SARAH ROSENTHAL (Summer '08, '09) was recently in the Broadway Revival cast of Ragtime!

ARIANA GRANDE (Winter '08) was cast and performed in Jason Robert Brown's musical, 13 on Broadway after working with him at the 2008 BAA Winter Workshop!

AARON SIMON GROSS (Spring Awakening Master Class) played Archie in Broadway's 13. He received an Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical nomination from the Outer Critic's Circle.

ALEXANDRA SCOLARI (Summer '06) was cast in 13, a new musical by Tonyฎ Award-winning composer, and Broadway Artists Alliance guest instructor, Jason Robert Brown. Alex was a featured cast member as well as an understudy for the lead role in the original LA production in 2007, and will now be in the freshman musical theater class of 2015 at University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).

AMANDA CASTAัOS (Spring Awakening Master Class, '08) was cast in Spring Awakening on Broadway! She played the role of Martha.

MORGAN KARR (Summer '05) was cast in Spring Awakening on Broadway! He was a swing for the non-principal roles and an understudy for the role of Moritz.

BROADWAY TOUR SUCCESSES

RACHEL KHUTORSKY (Winter '11) was cast by Bob Cline in the National Tour of Shrek as Young Fiona.
MARISSA SMOKER (Billy Elliot and Hairspray Master Classes) is joining the National Tour of Mary Poppins as Jane Banks.

HILLARY PORTER (Summer '10, College/Pro '10) was cast and will be playing the role of Rumpleteazer in the 2011-2012 National Tour of CATS!

DEA JULIEN (Summer '08, Master Classes) has been cast as Rosalia in the National Tour of West Side Story.

CHRISTIE PORTERA (Summer '09, College/Pro '10) has been cast in the National Tour of West Side Story.

MADISON KERTH (Summer '09, Master Classes) was recast in the title role of Annie in the 2010 National Tour of Annie!

SIARA PADILLA (Summer '07) performed with the National Tour of Annie during 2008 - 2009 playing the role of Tessie!

GABI CARRUBBA (Summer '05 and '07) spent a year on tour with the National Tour of Annie. She was an orphan and also understudied the title role (which she had the opportunity to play to rave reviews at Madison Square Garden).

ABBY SPARE and MARINA MACHERONE (Summer '08 and Winter '09) spent a year on tour as orphans with the National Tour of Annie.

DONNELL JAMES FOREMAN (Summer '06) went on tour with the National Touring Company of Hairspray playing the role of Seaweed! (Donnell first met Hairspray's Casting Director, Bob Cline at BAA!) He also performed in a premiere workshop, Luck! by (BAA Master Class Instructor) Brad Ross.

MACKENSI CONSIDINE, MADISON WOODS, JESSICA DOHERTY, LARISSA GRASSO, EMILY SERATCH, MELANIE JEROME, CHELSEA GALEMBO, NICOLE NITTOLI, JAKE BUTTER, HOLLIS LONG, CARLY MAITLIN, and DANIKA YAROSH (BAA Alumni '06-'09) performed in the Madison Square Garden/National Tours' April 2009 production of THE WIZARD OF OZ! This group of talented 8-13 year olds auditioned as a BAA Ensemble at Madison Square Garden and won the roles of Munchkins and Winkies! TV/FILM SUCCESSES

KATIE STEVENS (Summer '08) made it into the Top 10 of American Idol in Season 9! Congratulations Katie!

ARIANA GRANDE (Winter '08) is featured in Nikelodeon's hit show VICTORiOUS

RACHEL HILSON (Summer '08, '09) has been cast in a recurring role on The Good Wife as Nisa, and she is a "study partner" for the character of the son Zach Florrick.

BLAINE MORRIS (Winter '08) was cast as a recurring character on the American version of the UK hit show Skins on MTV and attends Elon University as a Musical Theatre Major.

ALEXIS MOLNAR (Summer '08, '09, '10 Winter '09, '10, '11, numerous Master Classes and Private Coachings) shot an episode of the new MTV series Danger Dawgz, was a principal for a national TV commercial for Nike, was featured in an episode of the Electric Company for the Sesame Street Workshop, and recorded 4 voice overs for Public Service Announcements on teen texting and driving. Alexis has also appeared for several performances at Joe's Pub in NYC.

ANNA LASBURY (Summer '09, '10, Winter '10, Private Coaachings) was cast as the lead- Rivka in Kingdom Pictures upcoming film Sound of the Spirit to be realeased in 2012. Click here to visit the movie's website.

AIDAN SWIFT (Summer '09, '11 American Idiot Master Class) has been cast in a lead role for an indie movie being filmed in Singapore in summer 2011 called The Durian King.

KAITLIN LEDDY (Summer '09, '10, Master Classes) was cast in an upcoming independent film Smoothie writen and directed by Sunny Chow of New York Film Academy.

JEANA ZETTLER (Summer '05, '06, '07, '08, '09) is co-starring in the new movie Standing Ovation, released nationally on July 6, 2010. Click here to visit the movie's website.

LONDON CLARK (Summer '08) and ASHLEY CUTRONA (Summer '07) have principal roles in the feature film Standing Ovation.

MICHAEL I. HABER ('09 Spring Awakening Master Class, '10 College Audition Preparation Master Class, '11 Glee Master Class) was cast as an extra in the upcoming feature film, New Years Eve.

DANIKA YAROSH (Winter '09, Billy Elliot Master Class, Private Coachings, etc) was recently featured in an episode of Law & Order: SVU, which aired on May 12, 2010!

MADDIE TAYLOR (Winter '05, '06, '09 and Summer '06, Master Classes, Private Coachings) signed with top NY agent Nancy Carson, and starred as lead role in the Feature Film, The Girl Next Door based on the Jack Ketchum novel of that title. Maddie was also in the HBO series John Adams (in which she played John Adams' daughter) and Law & Order: SVU (in which she had a principal role) and was featured in an episode of Army Wives on the Lifetime Channel.

SHELBY WULFERT (Summer '09) will be featured on the new TV show, The Heart of Western Music. Shelby will also be featured in a Maruchan commercial for Yakisoba!

MARISSA SMOKER (Master Classes) was cast in the upcoming feature film, Witches of Oz! She will play Young Dorothy alongside Christopher Lloyd as the Wizard!

BENJAMIN MIRONER (Summer '08, '09, Winter '09) was recently cast in a lead role in a Nickelodeon Pilot as a result of a first meeting at the Winter Final Showcase!

ANNE CLARE GIBBONS-BROWN (Summer '08, Master Classes) shot a principal role on Law & Order (season 18, episode 8). She performed with Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings, 24, etc). She also sang the role of Little Fan (Scrooge's sister) in A Christmas Carol and played the part of Mary Warren in Arthur Miller's The Crucible at the Center for Performing Arts.


PERFORMANCE SUCCESSES

MADDIE MATEER (Winter '10) has been nominated for the Suzi Bass Award - "Best Ensemble in a Musical" for her role of Iris in Children's Letters to God (Atlanta). Maddie met Holly-Anne Ruggiero at BAA and is now under her direction in the pre-Broadway Soul Doctor in New Orleans.

SAMMY SCHECHTER (Summer '10) was casted as the Artful Dodger in Cirque Dreams Broadway. The world Premier was on 3/24/10 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts celebrating the Center's 20th anniversary. He worked along side with Linda Eder and Marc Kudisch in front of a sell out house of 2700 seats under the direction of Neil Goldberg. MEGAN SECREST (Summer '10) played the role of May Belle in A Bridge to Terabithia at The Coterie Theatre in Kansas City and cast in Kansas City Repertory Theatre's A Christmas Carol and cast in Starlight Theatre's Cinderella

CLAUDIA SHAPIRO (Summer '10, Master Classes) recently starred as Hope Cladwell in Urinetown: The Musical at the Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley, California and as Rizzo in Grease with Performing Arts Academy of Marin.

DAVID WIENS (Summer '09) was cast in Santa Rosa Summer Repertory Theater 2011's productions of Hairspray (as Edna), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (as the Hotel Manager), and A Flea in Her Ear (as Dr. Panache).

RACHEL BRUDNER (Summer '10) appeared as Fern in Two River Theater's production of Charlotte's Web.
ELOISE SHARKEY (Summer '09, '10) was cast as Susan Waverly in Walnut Street Theater's 2010-2011 production of White Christmas.

CAITLIN DEERIN (Summer '10) was cast as Annie in Annie at Olney Theatre Center, Olney MD.

BRIDGET SCATURRO (Summer '08, Summer '09, Winter '10, Summer '10, Winter '11) recently sang the National Anthem opening night of the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne, Florida.

NATALIE REFF (Winter '10) played Lucy in 13 the Musical at Gifford Family Theater.

PETER BALCKE (Summer '10, Winter '11, Private Coachings) was in NYC for March-April 2011 workshopping a new musical called Hypochondria at Columbia Unniversity.

HANNAH DALY (Winter '10, Sutton Foster Master Class) has been cast as Martha Cratchit in A Christmas Carol at Portland Stage Company.

LILLI JACOBS (Summer & Winter '10, Private Coachings) was cast in Gypsy at the Actors Conservatory Theater of Westchester.

DANIEL SIEGEL (Summer '09, '10) played Friedrich in The Sound of Music at the Engeman Theater in NY.

KATJA VOLKER (Summer & Winter '10) was in A Christmas Carol at Ford's Theater in Washington in 2010-2011.

MARISSA SMOKER (Billy Elliot & Hairspray Master Classes) Witches of Oz is scheduled to be in select theaters on February 18, 2011, and a two-part mini series version will be show on TV thereafter. Marissa followed up her appearance as Nellie in Annie Get Your Gun at Goodspeed by continuing with Goodspeed Musicals in their production of Radio Girl as a Lucky Little Radio Girl Hopeful!

MALLORY BECHTEL (13 & Disney Master Classes '10) played Tina Denmark in regional theatre Totem Pole Playhouse's Ruthless! The Musical along with Donna Migliaccio from Broadway's Ragtime.

SKYLER WRIGHT (Summer '10) was cast as Wendy in Theatre Workshop's upcoming production of Peter Pan.

CARTER REDWOOD (Summer '05, '06) performed in the World Premiere of When January Feels Like Summer at City Theatre, and is currently attending Carnegie Mellon University as an acting major.

LINDSAY FELLER (Summer '09) has been cast in the role of Baby June in Gypsy at Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack, NY (performing mid-November thru mid-December 2010). She also recently played the lead role, Sarah Crewe, in A Little Princess at Random Farms Theatre.

ELIANNA SCHNITTMAN (Summer '09) has been cast in the Drury Lane Oakbrook production of Ragtime in Chicago, IL!

TAYLOR SHORT (Winter '10, Master Classes) was cast as Louisa in the University of Virginia's Heritage Theatre Festival production of The Sound of Music! Taylor will also be playing Kendra in Charlottesville Live Arts' production of 13!

SYDNEY KIRKEGAARD (Summer '09, Master Classes) played Martha Cratchit in A Christmas Carol with the Milwaukee Repertory at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee.

JAKOB STALNAKER (Summer '09) was cast in the Shakespeare Theatre Company's production of Henry V, in Washington, DC.

ABIGAIL LUPI (Summer '09) is played Clara in Kozlov Dance International's production of The Nutcracker, alongside Tony Award winning Kiril Kulish. Read more about the production here.

NICKI ELLEDGE (Winter '10, Master Classes) performed the role of Eponine at the San Diego Junior Theater's production of Les Miserables. She also played Helicanus in Pericles at the Old Globe's Summer Shakespeare Intensive.  In December she will appear for her sixth year in Lamb Players An American Christmas.

MATTHEW ROBERTSON (Summer ’07, Winter ’08) met and signed with Carson Adler Agency and Sinclair Management after meeting them during the summer intensive. He also booked the role of Friedrich in the Asia Tour of The Sound of Music.

JACE CASEY (Summer ’07) played the lead role in Signature Theatre's The Happy Time, a revival of the 1948 Kander and Ebb Broadway show. Jace enjoyed working with John Kander himself on the revival. Read more about it at BroadwayWorld.com

CARLY MAITLIN (Summer ’08, Winter ’09) appeared in the production contract tour of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and as Susan Waverly in Ordway Center's production of White Christmas directed by Walter Bobbie, and originated the role of Young Fiona in the AEA staged reading of Shrek

ALLIY DRAGO (Summer ’07) received the Rising Star Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress as Anita in West Side Story and attends Syracuse University's BFA musical theater program, and signed with Prestige Entertainment Talent Management.

JACE CASEY, EMILY COCHRANE, BRITTANY O'GRADY, CAITLIN O'GRADY, and MATTHEW NEE (Summers ’07, ’08) performed in A Christmas Carol in Washington DC's Ford's Theatre.

ALEXIS MOLNAR (Summer '09, '10, Winter Workshop '10, Master Classes) recently performed a musical comedy duet with Aaron Simon Gross at Joe's Pub in New York City. Alexis is also featured in a new music video by pop singer, Sia, for her song "You've Changed" (which has aired on MTV), and is in Trapper Felides's upcoming reality show The Next Big Thing.

ATHENA SARANTIS (Summer '10) was cast as Martha in Cheaper by the Dozen for the 2011 Southern Appalachian Repetory Theatre (SART) season in Mars Hill, NC. SART is in its 37th year.

DESIREE SAMLER (Summer '07, '08) performed the role of Susan Waverly in the Denver Center for Performing Arts' Production of White Christmas, for which she received a Denver Post Ovation nomination for best young actor.

KRYSTEN WAGNER (Winter '07, Summer '07, '08, '10) appeared in Witch Christmas, an Equity Showcase production at Manhattan Theater Source.

JAYMEE FRANKEL (Summer '05, '06, Winter '06) was recently featured on the cover of Billboard Magazine and has recorded a CD produced by Jerry Kasenatz and Don Chaffin.

OLIVIA DEVINE is headed to Nashville, TN to record her first country CD with Obie O'Brien (Bon Jovi's producer and engineer), with original songs written for her by Jimmy Femino (multiple-time Grammy nominee, composer for Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, and Martina McBride).

VERONICA RODELL (Summer '06) sang lead vocals for Disney in the production of High School Musical in the nationally televised Cherry Blossom Parade held in Washington D.C. She also filmed her first SAG Independent Film, Indeliable, directed by Randall Dottin! She is very excited to have received SAG card (She got the role through her agent Shirley Faison of the Carson-Adler Agency).

CHELSEA CREE GROEN (Winter ’06, ’09) won the Actors Equity Roger Sturtevant Award for EMC’s. She has also recently had final callbacks for Little House on the Prarie and Broadway’s Bye Bye Birdie.

NIKI and NILA SAYWER (Summer ’05 and ’06) completed a successful run of the twin starring roles in Side Show at Westchester Broadway Theater. They also signed with a top NY Management.

NIKI SAWYER (Summer ’05, ’06) was cast as one of the showgirls in the musical Follies which was performed as a mainstage production at Boston Conservatory in the fall of 2008.

ANGELINA DEVITO (Summer ’06) was cast in a production of High School Musical with Broadway Series South and North Carolina Theatre.

CARLY PALMINTERI (Summer ’06) worked as a featured dancer in a music video for Melissa Gundersen, an up and coming singer/actress and continued as Melissa's featured dancer for her concerts and music videos.

CARTER REDWOOD won 1st place in both the regional AWMC and in the 15th Annual Pittsburgh Public Theater's Shakespeare Monologue and Scene Contest. He was also in Poland for week to perform at Theater Slaski for the "Festival of the Americas."


AGENT/MANAGER SUCCESSES

LAUREN WEINTRAUB (Winter & Summer '10) signed with Jody Prusan of Creative Talent Management after the Winter Workshop '10 and recently signed with Nancy Carson. She also landed her dream role of Annie in Annie with the Wellesley Players in 2011.

MIRANDA CARD LAMPKE (Winter & Summer '06, '07, '08, '09, '10, private coachings, & Master Classses) signed with Nani/Saperstein as a result of showcases at BAA.

EVAN LOVELACE (Summer & Winter '08, '09, '10) signed with Kolstein Talent Ageny and met with Sinclair Management and Creative Talent after Summer 2010 Workshops and Intensives.

TYLER OGDEN (Summer '09, '10, Winter '11) met with Generation TV agent as a result of the 2011 Winter Workshop Final Showcase.

MIA NIELSEN (Summer '10) signed with RKS Management and an agent from Rogue Talent.

MAX TALISMAN (Summer '09, '10) was contacted by Jody Prusan of Creative Talent Company two hours after the 2010 Summer Session 1 Industry Showcase wanting to represent him as his manager and wanting to get him in to audition for Addams Family and A Christmas Story.

CARSON OLIVIA DESANTIS (Summer '08, '09, '10) signed with top NYC agency, Carson-Kolker Organization. She played Louie in Captain Louie. She also competed in the Junior Thespian competition and received Superior ratings.

AMANDA LUPACCHINO (Summer '08, '09, '10, '11, Winter '09, '10, '11) signed with Parkside Talent following the 2011 Summer Workshop Showcase.

INDIA CARNEY (Winter '10) was approached by several casting directors, managers and agents following the Broadway Artists Alliance 2010 Winter Industry Showcase including Jody Prusan of Connecting Talent Company who has landed India her first role as an extra on One Life To Live. India has also performed in the LaGuardia Arts HS Concert Hall as Diana Morales in A Chorus Line, and as Cindy and Dynamite in Hairspray and performed in the opera Naughty Marietta. At the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division, she performed Eponine in Les Miserables. In the summer, 2010 she attended the National High School Institute @ Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in the Theatre Arts and Musical Extension Program and performed as Aida in Aidia, as well as other drama and musical productions. As a singer, India has performed in countless concerts, recitals, and competed on many levels winning Gold, Silver and Honorable Mention Awards.

BRIAN SCHWARTZ (Winter '07, '08, '09, '10, Summer '07, '08, '09, '10) Signed with Station 3 Entertainment (Manager) and CESD (Agent) as a result of his Broadway Artists Alliance Showcase performance. He has been busy performing in NYC theater, most recently portraying Young Seth Rudetsky in Seth's Broadway 101 at Ars Nova!

LAURA SKY HERMAN (Winter ’09) signed with Dina Bogner of Generation TV and has had several callbacks for Broadway's Billy Elliot.

BENJAMIN MIRONER (Summer ’08, Winter ’09) signed with top NY agency Generation TV (Dina Bogner). He also performed a leading role in a musical play in the North Carolina State Theater - FlatRock PlayHouse.

MICHAEL PESKO (Summer ’06) was signed by Sinclair Management during the week of the 2006 Summer Intensive. Before the week was out, his tap dancing skills had landed him a callback for a principal character in an upcoming Feature Film.

DAVID GOMEZ, SAM CORRIE, PHIL CRUMRINE, and ASHLEY TWOMEY were called in by Sinclair Management following the 2007 Winter Intensive.

SAMANTHA SKOW (Summers '05, '06 and '07, Winter '06 and '07) and signed with RKS Management, Ltd. and top NYC agent Dina Bogner. She performed the role of Martha in the Original NYC workshop of High School Musical 2! She has also had many callbacks for Hairspray (on tour, Broadway, and at Weston Playhouse), Broadway's revival of Grease, Cinderella (Asian Tour), and the new movie Masterclass starring Faye Dunaway.


COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE/ATTENDANCE

HANNAH DALY (Winter '10, Sutton Foster Master Class) has been accepted to the BFA Acting program at Syracuse University for the Fall 2011 semester.

NICHOLAS OLIVERI (Summer '08, '09) attends Oklahoma City University (alma mater of Kristen Chenowith, Kelly O'Hara and more) as a Musical Theatre major. Later this month he will be playing King Herod in OCU's Mainstage production of JCS. He's been cast as Otto in the Equity production of Spring Awakening at the Lyric Theatre in Oklahoma City in April, 2012.


REBECCA MONTGOMERY
(Summer '10) has been accepted to AMDA and Pace University and will be attending Pace in fall '11 to study acting and dance.

SEAN WELSH BROWN (Winter '09, Master Classes) has been accepted into the inaugural class of the New Studio on Broadway: Music Theatre at NYU Tisch School of The Arts for Fall 2010. He was signed by CESD Talent Agency this past August. Sean received a Paper Mill Playhouse 2010 Rising Star nomination for "Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role" for his performance as Billy Crocker in Anything Goes.

KRISTA UNVERFERTH (Summer '09) was accepted to the BFA Musical Theatre programs at Monclair State University (her first choice and where she will be attending in the fall of '11), The Hartt School at University of Hartford, California State Fullerton and AMDA. She also received a regional theatre award nomination (SARTA's Elly award) for Outstanding Lead Actress for her performance of Rosie in Bye, Bye Birdie.

DANIELLE EDEN (Summer ’05, ’06 and ’07) attends New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and was in a musical at historic Ford's Theater (in conjunction with Goodspeed) in Washington, DC called Meet John Doe.

CHELSEA CREE GROEN (Winter '06, '07, '09) was accepted and is attending the University of Michigan majoring in Musical Theatre.

NICK FERRAO (Summer '10) was accepted to Point Park University and American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre.

DAVID WIENS (Summer '09) accepted to BFA/BM MT programs at Pace University, Boston Conservatory, Oklahoma City University, University of Oklahoma, and priority wait-listed at Carnegie Mellon. Will be attending Pace University BFA MT in Fall 2010.

KELLIE MURPHY (Summer ’06) was accepted to (and chose to attend) NYU's Tisch School of the Arts for the fall of 2007.

TIMOTHY JAMES SMITH is attending NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

EMILY ZELLER (Summer '05, Winter '07) is a vocal major at the Sunderman Conservatory at Gettysburg College.

JENNIFER SMITH (Winter '08, Legally Blonde Master Class) attends the Boston Conservatory now and when it was college acceptance time she recieved a full acting scholarship offer from the Westminister School of the Arts.

NIKI SAWYER is currently attending Boston Conservatory as a Musical Theatre major.

PHIL CRUMRINE (Winter ’07) is currently attending The Boston Conservatory of Music as a Musical Theatre major.

DANI TUFANO (Summer ’05) performed in the off-Broadway production of Life Under Water at Cherry Lane Theatre. Dani attends New York University for Theatre Education. She is also an active member of NYU's Shakespeare-to-Go, a group that travels to NYC schools to perform abridged versions of Shakespeare Plays. Danielle also recently performed the title role of Jesus in Godspell.

HEATHER WAGNER (Winter ’06 and ’07, Summer ’07) Two weeks after the 2006 Winter Intensive, Heather was cast in the off-off-Broadway production of Footloose. She is currently majoring in Theater and minoring in Dance at Rutgers University and was cast in its production of Baby.

LAURA AHRENS (Summer ’05) transferred to the University of the Arts to pursue a BFA in musical theatre.
