Get to Know Your Student Advisor

What was the first Broadway show you ever saw?
I think I was about six years old and I saw the Original Cast of Footloose on Broadway. At the time, I was completely fascinated with how the locker units moved so seamlessly on and off stage – other than that I don’t remember anything else about the production.

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
A polar bear. Well, I really enjoy the cold weather (especially the snow), so being able to just hang out in the artic seems awesome to me. Also, just the ability to swim under the ice and explore the dark, cold world!

What or who inspires you and why?
Theatre – The idea that as artists we have the opportunity to inspire not only those we work with, but strangers that make up our audience just inspires me to be curious about the world around me so I can create even more. Without theatre, we wouldn’t be able to express ourselves, be vulnerable or tell important stories. In that, I feel like the whole process and the end product is inspiring in itself.
