Tony Award nominee Jenn Colella from Broadway’s Come From Away is ready to share with you the depth of Song Interpretation work, and how to act through a song in this new BAA One Day Master Class!

Registered participants will work one-on-one with Jenn by performing selected audition cuts and receiving direct feedback and suggestions.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Jenn Colella is a Tony Award nominee for her role as Capt. Beverley Bass in Come From Away on Broadway, a performance that has also garnered Jenn a San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award, a Helen Hayes Award, Toronto’s My Theatre Award, a Dora Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.
Jenn‘s Broadway credits include Urban Cowboy (Outer Critics Circle Award nomination), High Fidelity, Chaplin and If/Then, opposite LaChanze and Idina Menzel). Off-Broadway, she’s been a part of Slut, The Musical, and the acclaimed revival of Closer than Ever. Regionally, Jenn‘s favorite roles include Kiki in Kiki Baby (Outstanding Individual Performance Award at the NYMF festival), Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun (PCLO), Peter Pan in Peter Pan (Sacramento Music Circus), Daisy Hilton in Sideshow, and Georgie in The Full Monty (PaperMill Playhouse) with Elaine Stritch.
In television, Jenn has had guest starring roles on Cashmere Mafia (ABC), Rescue Me (FX), Can You Tell (Oxygen), All My Children (ABC)

Jenn attended Columbia College in her home state of South Carolina and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Drama.  She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the University of California, Irvine.  After graduate school, she remained in Los Angeles and pursued a career in standup comedy.  Jenn has taught master classes at NYU, New York Film Academy, Juilliard, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Columbia University, and many other universities throughout the country.  

This One Day Master Classes is open to ages 10-25.
Enrollment will be closed when the class reaches capacity.
