Brett’s Coaching Philosophy

Brett is a voice teacher, coach, and talent agent in New York City. When he works with actors he focuses on emphasizing their strength through classical, musical theatre, and pop-rock vocalisms. His progressive voice studio consists of a wide range of experience, from beginning students through working professionals. Utilizing technical instruction and repertoire coaching, the tenants of holistic singing are the foundation of the curriculum, equipping each singer with the essential tools necessary for a healthy voice, clear story-telling, and the confidence you need when you walk in the audition room.

A member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, the Voice Foundation, and the New York Singing Teachers, for the last 4 years, Brett has been on the Adjunct Voice Faculty at New York University. Last summer, he joined the New York City talent office of Carlton, Goddard, and Freer as a Junior Agent and continues to serve as a Student Advisor and Audition Coach for Broadway Artists Alliance.
