David Ayers

David Ayers(Actor) starred on Broadway as Fiyero in Wicked, Sky in Mamma Mia!, and originated the role of Fyedka in the 2005 Tony-nominated revival of Fiddler on the Roof and can be heard in it’s cast recording. Off-Broadway: Lady Day At Emerson’s Bar and Grill, (Robert), Silence! The Musical (Buffalo Bill). Other credits include: Claude in Hair (Actor’s Theatre of Louisville), Rodger in A New Brain (Portland’s Center Stage), The Doctor in Next to Normal (Weston Playhouse), Trigorin in The Seagull (International Chekhov Symposium), Honk! (Northshore). He has originated lead roles in the workshops of Little Women, Elton John’s Lestat, Maury Yeston’s Death Takes a Holiday, Barry Manilow’s Harmony, and starred as Tom Jones in Tom Jones, opposite his wife, Angela Gaylor (Theatre at St. Clements, NYC). TV credits: Law and Order: Criminal Intent, The Guiding Light. Film: Texas Frightmare Massacre (Todd Head). David has worked with some of Broadway’s greatest composers such as Adam Guettel, Stephen Schwartz, William Finn and George Stiles. He has appeared in Elle Girl magazine and is featured in Wicked’s coffee table book: The Grimmerie. David is also the Development Director and co-founder of Broadway In Boulder Studios, a nonprofit arts organization in Boulder, CO.
