Justin Boccitto

Justin Boccitto(Dancer/Choreographer) won the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) 2015 Best in Fest Award for Choreography in What do Critics Know? Justin also recently directed and choreographed a production of Young Frankenstein at New Generation Theatre in collaboration with colleague Sol Bloch. He also has directed and choreographed for Circle in the Square Theatre School with credits including Lippa’s Wild Party, Urinetown, and The World Goes ‘Round, hailed by theatre critic Peter Filichia as “Stylish and confident.” He directed the National Tour of Dance/Speak: The Life of Agnes De Mille starring Patricia Conolly. He was the choreographer for off-Broadway’s One Night with Fanny Brice. Other credits include: The Metropolitan Opera, The New York Fringe Festival, Papermill Playhouse, the off-Broadway production of George M. Cohan: In His Own Words and his tap company, Generation Tap, which has performed in Tap City, Tap Extravaganza and appeared in Dancer and Dance Spirit magazines. As an educator Justin serves on the faculty at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, is guest faculty at The Juilliard School, and teaches at Broadway Dance Center. He is also Executive Producer of The Group Theatre Too, which produced the musical Count to Ten at NYMF and the annual Choreographer’s Canvas. justinboccitto.com
