Laura Benanti

(Actress) won a 2008 Tony® Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award for her portrayal of Louise in the revival of Gypsy with Patti LuPone. She can currently be seen starring as Eliza Doolittle in the Lincoln Center’s revival of My Fair Lady. Laura often makes appearances as Melania Trump on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and she also recently completed her Broadway run in Meteor Shower. Laura also recently starred in Radio City Music Hall’s New York Spring Spectacular and appeared in Parade with Manhattan Concert Production at Lincoln Center in the role of Lucille Frank. Her other Broadway credits include Amalia Balash in She Loves Me (2016 Tony® nomination, Outer Critics nomination, Drama League nomination and Drama Desk Award nomination) Candela in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Tony® nomination, Drama Desk Award winner), Mrs. Givings in In the Next Room (Outer Critics Circle, Drama League nominations), Claudia in Nine (Outer Critics Circle and Drama League nominations), Cinderella in Into the Woods (Tony®, Drama Desk, L.A. Laura is also well known for her portrayal of the Baroness, Elsa Schraeder, in NBC’s The Sound of Music Live!.
